• In a short paper of my own (“On Senex Consciousness” 1970 reprinted in Senex & Puer) I also tried to show that a certain style of presenting psychology, Jung’s in particular, by means of diagrams, numbers, and crystals, by references to introversion and slow patience, and by images of the Old Wise Man, uses of ancient wisdom and magic, belongs to the senex consciousness of Saturn
