taking a train
you are taking a train, the trans-Siberian, maybe, that very long trip with many stops, with different views and the same, you are getting out at one station, to breath some air, or to smoke, maybe something momentarily grabs your attention, you don’t make it back to the platform on time, you are left behind, you hesitate for a moment watching the cars disappearing into the horizon, all your luggage gone, and probably not very much on you but a phone, you look around, and eventually walk to this little town, you move in, move on, you create a little life there, you soon forget about the train all along, at least for now, you think to yourself what kind of person even needs a train without the destination, then every day when you walk close enough to the station, you feel the earth roaring, you hear the far-away sound of the wheels revolving, you understand, it will keep coming no matter you are ready or no
